Mr. Chiedu Ebie, the newly appointed Chairman of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), is not just a lawyer but a seasoned technocrat who represents transformative leadership for the Niger Delta Region.

He was born into the family of Professor John C. Ebie, a respected psychiatrist, academic, and pioneer Chief Medical Director of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH). This rich pedigree is the foundation of his illustrious career, propelling him to amass over three decades of varied experiences from the private and public sectors. With an undergraduate degree in law from the University of Benin, a certificate of call to the Bar from Nigerian Law School, and a postgraduate diploma from the University of London, his academic credentials are just as impressive.
His journey as a corporate and commercial lawyer saw him offering advisory and transactional services to diverse multi-industry clients. Delving into the intricate world of startups, specifically in the oil and gas sector, he managed an indigenous upstream company operating in the Niger Delta.
As a man of results, his tenure in the public sector was marked by efficiency and the breaking down of bureaucratic barriers. He introduced and implemented government policies through processes that translated into a seamless, result-oriented working environment. Before long, recognition came in droves for him, particularly by former Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State, who lauded him as his most outstanding appointee during the third anniversary of his first tenure when he served as Commissioner for Education (Basic & Secondary). This accolade culminated in a higher responsibility. He became the Secretary to the Delta State Government (SSG) during Okowa's second term. In this dynamic political environment, his calm demeanor, humility, and strategic insight became a source of guidance and stability, further solidifying his reputation as an invaluable asset to Delta State.

Her corporate event planning has included parties and tradeshows for such companies as Citibank, March of Dimes, Blue Cross Blue Shield, City National Bank, Bloomingdales, Pottery Barn, Builders Association of South Florida and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. Ana began her career in the event planning field in the early 90's by creating custom social events for her then-employer, Citibank. Her inspiration, creativity and penchant towards design led Ana to expand her talents into complete party planning. In 2001, she officially opened Ana Cruz Event Planning and instantly attracted clients from all over the country. From 2005 to 2010, Ana was a featured Wedding Planner on Style Network’s reality wedding series hit “Whose Wedding Is It Anyway?” and its sister program, “Married Away”. Ana’s easygoing sense of humor, resourcefulness, ingenuity and ability to bond with her clients quickly made her a show favorite. The production team at the E! Network dubbed Ana the “Latina Carrie Bradshaw”. Her time on television led to Ana becoming a very sought after host and public speaker featured at events for The Association of Bridal Consultants, The Wedding Planning Institute of Canada, The International Special Event Society, Schools of Hospitality at both Miami Dade College and Florida International University, Love Mexico and The Event Show by Tres Bien Events in Nigeria. With over 25 years in the event planning industry, Ana has broadened the services her company offers to assist clients beyond the event day. These lifestyle concierge services include home design, travel planning and personal styling. Ana believes that anything worth doing deserves flawless planning.
Occupational Health Manager
Dr Nsikak Ntia was born to an educationist father and a trauma nurse mother into a family of five in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. He had his early education at Pabod Nursery School and then UPE primary school, Borokiri. He proceeded to Federal Government College, Ikot-Ekpene for his secondary education. He is an alumnus of the College of Medical Sciences, University of Calabar, Nigeria, He also obtained postgraduate degrees from the University of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, London, and the University of Manchester, United Kingdom. He holds the diploma and fellowships of the Faculties of Occupational Medicine of the United Kingdom and Ireland Dr. Nsikak-Abasi Ntia is an Occupational Health Physician with over two decades of medical practice in the Oil and Gas, Not-for-Profit, and Public Health sectors. Dr. Ntia’s career has traversed the energy industry having had stints within and without Nigeria. He joined as an Occupational Physician and has risen to become Regional Occupational Health Manager for Shell Companies in Nigeria, a position he holds to date. Nsikak has quite significant experience and skill in Health Safety and Environment Management Systems. Mastery and Expertise in Health Risk management, Health management frameworks, and pandemics for corporations, as well as advisory roles to government. Dr. Ntia is the National Vice President of the Society of Occupational and Environmental Health Physicians of Nigeria (SOEHPON). He is a veteran Toastmaster and past Division and Area Director. He is an Advanced Communicator Gold and Advanced Leader An ardent sports enthusiast (football, volleyball, golf, Chess, Scrabble) and public affairs. commentator. Dr Ntia is passionate about giving back and joined Rotary via the Rotary Club of Port Harcourt, Spring Gardens in March 2023 and has served as Club Membership Chair 2023/24, committee member for Rotary Institute- Lusaka 2023, Member Banquet Committee DG Installation 2024 and now President -2024/25, Rotary Club of Port Harcourt, Spring Garden. He is blessed with children.
Chef Edward's Food House
Edward Bright, a proud member of the Ekpeye tribe from Ahoada in Rivers State, was born 46 years ago. He holds a B.Sc. in Geophysics from the University of Port Harcourt and pursued his passion for culinary arts with a Diploma in Culinary Arts from Sun City Culinary in South Africa and another in Culinary Science from Terru Bei in Senegal. Edward’s culinary journey began in 2006, where he had the privilege of being one of the chefs catering for the Miss World dinner party in Cross River State, during Donald Duke’s administration. Following this experience, he opened his first bukka in Ogbunabali. Three years later, he founded his first catering company, Cinnamon and Sauces, in Trans Amadi. In 2019, he established Chef Edward's Food House in GRA, where he continues to serve till date.

Bisi is the convener of the BusyBee Event Business Summit, One of Africa’s largest conferences established since 2017 to foster sound entrepreneurial practices amongst event professionals. Onimim is a graduate of the department of Biochemistry from the university of Port Harcourt where she obtained her Bsc in 2011. She concluded her NYSC in 2012 bagging several awards for her meritorious service including being the best Corp member in the local government. Onimim had dreams of going to the UK for a masters degree program, while she waited she founded the Need to read initiative. This organization established libraries, refurbished old ones, restocked books and organized spelling bees across Port Harcourt and Yenagoa for primary and secondary schools. Cooking had been a hobby for Onimim all this while, she hosted friends and offered her culinary skills effortlessly. This hobby slowly turned into a business especially when the foreign masters degree program had encountered multiple failures. Cooking soothed her heart. The Fifi’s Food House was birthed officially in 2016. The company has catered for top class clients, multi nationals and even canteen management services for firms. She has had a food tour in the UK where many Nigerian immigrants ordered and stocked their homes during her stay. Onimim has worked in curating food content, recipes and live demos for brands like Maggi Nigeria , Golden Penny etc. Onimim is a serious participant at the GTB food and drink fair, she has also attended food Fairs in Accra and Cotonou. The Fifi’s Food House which Onimim serves as founder, head chef and recipe creator has also birthed two other companies, The Pasta House and Fifi’s Magic sauces.
